History
1976 - Company founder Paul Kirpes began a consulting practice.
1989 - Driven to bring performance-based counsel to not-for-profit and charitable organizations, he established The Philanthropy Group. From the beginning, TPG attracted clients who recognized its unique approach to business - the synergy created by integrating the best components of not-for-profit (passion to fulfill a mission) and commercial business sectors (commitment to meet bottom line objectives).
2005 - TPG Management Consulting is created to expand products and services available for the corporate sector. TPG Philanthropy Group continues to focus on serving public benefit organizations, charities, communities and governments. Together, these two collaborative operations make up the TPG Companies.
Today - TPG Companies leverages a growing network of professionals and staff with diverse experiences serving charities, communities and commercial clients, from Fortune 100 companies to neighborhood organizations. These professionals are, like Paul, energized by purposeful work with measurable outcomes.
